This year we have teamed up with Charleston Home magazine to bring you a weekend full of ideas on inventing new creations for you and your environment. - 6:30pm-7:30pm - Welcome Reception - meet and greet exercise, hors d' oeuvres and wine
- 7:30-8:30pm - Charleston Home presents "Interior Design, Redefined: How to use the looks you love to get the house you want" - Editor Ellen McGauley explains how good decorating is as simple as buying what you love.
Ellen McGauley
Ellen is the editor of Charleston Home magazine, the Lowcountry's premier home and garden publication from the publishers of Charleston magazine. Since she joined the magazine group in the Fall of 2004, Charleston Home has published some of the area's most significant interiors, including the work of innovative designers like Muffie Faith, Angel Roberts and nationally recognized Amelia Handegan, named one of the top designers in the world in the 2007 Robb Report. Ellen also serves as home editor for WNC Magazine in Asheville, North Carolina, where she brings readers inside the well-appointed residences of the western North Carolina mountains. Ellen moved to Charleston from the Northeast, where she worked in the home and garden division of Time Inc.'s book club in Manhattan.

- 2:15pm-4:00pm - Scrapbooking Workshop by The Scrapbook Store in Mount Pleasant, SC. Learn how to complete a themed altered album. While playing with inks, stamping, chipboard and paper and more, you will be reminded that every picture has a story to tell. You will learn the importance of journaling and the art of cropping pictures.
7:00pm-8:00pm - The Art of the Martini-demo, presentation and tasting
8:00pm-10:00pm - Dinner and Comedy Show - First Female Comedian Becky Blaney who has appeared on America's Got Talent

Patti Callahan Henry
Patti lives with her husband and
three children near Atlanta, Georgia, along the Chattahoochee River.
She has been short-listed for the Towsend Prize for fiction and has
been nominated for the Southeastern Independent Booksellers Fiction

Linda King
Linda uses her years of experience as an anchor, reporter, celebrity interviewer, talk show host and on-camera presenter to help individuals learn to communicate effectively both inside and outside their organization. Linda focuses primarily in the areas of improving presentation skills, corporate spokesmanship and media relations. Linda has been listed in Who's Who in American Women and in the National Directory of Who's Who in Executive and Professional Women. Linda has been a guest speaker on communication skills at the University of Pittsburgh's College of Business Administration. She is also a member of the American Federation of Television and Radio Artists and the Screen Actor's Guild.
Frances Carrington Gravely
Frances, founder and VP of Vietri, Inc., was always a connoisseur of Italian culture and tabletop style. Frances, with her sister Susan and mother Lee Gravely, formed Vietri in 1983 after a family trip to the Almalfi Coast where the threesome fell in love with colorful handpainted dinnerware at the famous San Pietro Hotel. Vietri has grown from a small company representing one Italian factory to the largest Italian importing company in the American tabletop industry. Vietri's handcrafted Italian products are regularly seen in most major home, gourmet, fashion and style magazines in America as the pick of editors for style, color, pattern and craftsmanship. Vietri as a company has also been recognized editorially for its fairy tale beginning that grew into a major player in the tabletop industry.

Becky Blaney
Becky holds the distinction of being the only woman in the world who is a professional comedian-magician. She has captured the affection of every type of audience from major corporations to college campuses with her own special blend of magic and Southern Charm. Her first magic show was at age three with the help of her father, world-renowned magician, Walter "Zaney" Blaney. Since then, Becky has worked her way onto the stages of the nation's top comedy clubs, including Catch a Rising Star and the Improv. She has performed in numerous Las Vegas productions and co-starred in her own show in Atlantic City - Women of Magic. Her television appearances include HBO, An Evening at the Improv, Statler Brothers, Loise and Clark, Into the Night and Comedy Central.

- 11:00am-11:45am - Upscale consignment Charleston store owner, Beth Cook, shares her story and the latest trend in fashion

Stacey Crew
Stacy, author, organizer and speaker lives in Charleston with her two daughters, where she is a professional organizer and writer. Over the past five years, Stacey has organized almost 200 individuals in the Lowcountry, including clients in Savannah, Georgia and New York City. In May '09 Stacey's book, The Organized Mom, will be available in bookstores nationwide.
